Tahoe Fund Projects 2014 Tahoe Fund is committed to raising funds for projects that are part of Tahoe’s Environmental Improvement Program (EIP). EIP projects have been identified as those most critical to restoring the Tahoe Basin. The Environmental Improvement Program was highlighted during the 1997 Presidential Summit at Lake Tahoe. President Clinton and others convened at Tahoe to focus efforts on protecting the lake for future generations. We have a great winery lineup to date with wineries Silver Oak, Trefethen, Duckhorn and many new wineries with some of your old favorites in attendance. “An Evening of Food & Wine Tasting” raises money to fund the many projects and programs sponsored by Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe. All proceeds are directed back into our community through educational scholarships, youth activity sponsorships and grants to organizations such as the Live Violence Free Center, Tahoe Youth and Family, the Drug Store Project, Christmas Cheer, Girls on the Run, Tahoe Arts Project and numerous projects that enhance services and quality of life in our community.
