 Tahoe South Ski Resorts Among First in the Basin to Open 100 Percent of Terrain
Mother Nature delivered another 6-12 inches to area resorts over the weekend, enabling both Kirkwood and Sierra-at-Tahoe to open 100 percent. Heavenly Mountain Resort has expanded operations to include California Base Lodge www.tahoesouth.com. “Along with the amazing mountain conditions, there are more events and entertainment than ever to enhance the magical experience of the holidays,” said Carol Chaplin, president and CEO of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. “Families can jam-pack their Tahoe days and nights, or simply relax and soak it all in.” Click here to learn more.
 California home sales and prices ease back in November, but low rates and tight supply continue to provide support to the market, C.A.R. reports
California home sales and prices retreated in November, though the statewide median price recorded its largest year-over-year price gain in nearly a year and a half, the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) said today. 
Closed escrow sales of existing, single-family detached homes in California totaled a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 402,880 units in November, according to information collected by C.A.R. from more than 90 local REALTOR® associations and MLSs statewide. The statewide annualized sales figure represents what would be the total number of homes sold during 2019 if sales maintained the November pace throughout the year. It is adjusted to account for seasonal factors that typically influence home sales. Click here to learn more.
