    Tahoe Township vacation homes subject to Stateline surcharge
 
STATELINE, Nev. – Owners of the roughly 500 vacation home rentals in Tahoe Township will be required to pay a $5 surcharge to support construction of a Stateline events center. The state law implementing the new charge took effect July 1. Douglas County will collect the money, which will be distributed to the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority. Click here to finish reading.

Closed escrow sales of existing, single-family detached homes in California totaled a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 389,690 units in June, according to information collected by C.A.R. from more than 90 local REALTOR®associations and MLSs statewide. The statewide annualized sales figure represents what would be the total number of homes sold during 2019 if sales maintained the June pace throughout the year.
