Our very own real estate agent, Jesse Yohnka, listed a property located at 3695 Primrose Rd. in South Lake Tahoe that has become a viral sensation. The 2,116 square foot duplex looks very normal from the outside, but what’s inside has been gaining traction all around the world- unique mannequins located in the upper unit of this property. DailyMail,SFGate, NEXSTAR, New York Post and many other news channels have taken this story and ran with it as well as various social media pages. The listing on Zillow has attracted more than 3.2 million views (and counting) since it was listed on Feb. 19th, 2021. Many people around the world have been asking the same question: “Why the mannequins?” Jesse Yohnka states “The mannequins belong to the home’s current tenant, who works in the fashion industry. They’re just tools of the trade.” Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Jesse did not touch or move anything in the home and left it “as-is” to limit exposure. We want to make sure we respect the tenants privacy so we ask that the public please don’t go to the property without calling the listing agent first to set up a time.

Tahoe’s snowpack is currently 74% of average. Even with the big snow that fell in late January, a lack of consistency in storms and weather this year has led to a lower than average snowpack. Historically, the Basin has received the most snow from January to March, meaning there is still time to add to our current snowpack. Barton Health, in partnership with the El Dorado County Public Health Department, will receive a limited allocation of COVID-19 vaccines in support of the county’s vaccination effort. Following California’s tiered, age-based system for vaccination distribution, Barton will administer approximately 1,600 vaccines to high-risk patients at a drive-up clinic on February 26 at Lake Tahoe Community College.
Barton will only be administering the vaccine to pre-registered patients with an appointment. Barton Health will contact eligible patients directly beginning February 23 to schedule their appointment through MyChart. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis until all doses are allocated. People who show up at the clinic without an appointment cannot be accommodated.
Barton Health will continue to request vaccinations from the county, and as available, will administer them to eligible patients utilizing the State of California’s tiered eligibility system.
Individuals not contacted by Barton who meet the eligibility requirements for the vaccination as defined by the State of California or the State of Nevada, should visit their county public health department websites for information on registration and current appointment availability:
