A small and exclusive Lake Tahoe residential area is Highland woods. Privately nestled along the left side of Lake Tahoe Boulevard sits this community of less than 250 homes. With the mountain views, convenient location, close proximity to the lake and nearby meadow, homes for sale in this area are rare. Highland Woods is also one of the few areas of single family homes to have its own HOA for snow and garbage removal.

The average home in this area is 1,500 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and sits on a 5,000 sq. ft. lot.  While there are a few multi-family units, this area is prominently single family homes with a blend of full- and part-time residents.
