I moved from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe in 1998 to pursue my love for
outdoor activities. I received my AA from Lake Tahoe Community College
in 2001 and moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly where I earned
my Bachelors in Psychology in 2003. I returned to the lake in the
summer of 2003 and started working for Douglas County as a counselor
for troubled youth. I moved my career up to the lake and worked with El
Dorado County as a probation officer in 2005. I decided to change
career paths and received my real estate license in 2007. I have been a
home owner in the basin since 2005 and did a full remodel on my home
allowing me to work with various companies within the basin and to
build relationships with them. I love being up in this area with the
four seasons offering outdoor activities of ones dreams for all seasons
and the community oriented spirit that this town envelops.

Dan Thrift is a 19 year resident of South Lake Tahoe, coming to the South Shore to work at a local newspaper as a photographer where he discovered his passion to capture the extraordinary beauty of the Lake Tahoe region.
Well known for his many award winning years with the Tahoe Tribune, Dan is a highly committed and professional photographer with more than 19 years of experience in his field. His talent as a photojournalist has given him the talent and ability to do more than just take stunning photographs.
Heavily involved in the disc golf community here, Dan has helped develop, install and maintain several courses in the area including Bijou Community Park, Zephyr Cove Park and at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. Dan is also a volunteer with Special Olympics Team Tahoe as swim coach and an assistant coach for the softball team. He lives with his fiancée Rebecca and her son Zeb and their basenji/border collie mix, Felony.

David Seifert

David moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1975 and began working for The Tahoe
Savings and Loan Association. While there he became the TS&L's "In
House Appraiser". In 1980 David started his own Real Estate Appraisal
business, working in both the residential and commercial / income
property appraisal fields. During this time he also taught Real Estate
Appraisal courses at Lake Tahoe Community College and obtained the
licensing from The Appraisal Foundation to instruct the National
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice Courses. After 30+
years of appraisal work, David felt the desire to move on with life.
Thus he sold his practice, and after a brief retirement, he felt the
desire to extend both, his professional experiences in Real Estate and
his enjoyment of working with others, thus it was a natural transition
to enter the Real Estate Sales field. Now, after receiving his
Realtor's License, David has been given the opportunity to work with

I am a native of California, born and raised in Santa Cruz moving
to South Lake Tahoe over 18 years ago after a camping trip to
D.L. Bliss State Park. I fell in love with the mountains and the lake
and simply had to live here.
My background is in the title and escrow field. I have over 17 years
experience processing general real estate, REO, short sale, commercial
and timeshare transactions. I’m looking forward to this new faze of
